Okay, a really great chunk of the coding has been finished. I still have some systems and plenty of tweaks and different things to implement, but a decent amount of the gameplay is in and working. All of that stuff is behind the scenes so there hasn’t been much to make posts about or visually show.
I’ll attach a few older screenshots I made a while ago. The graphics are placeholders. I’ve been using primitives for the majority of the prototyping, like many indie devs. My focus has been getting the coding all working first and then tackling the visuals.
What do you think this game is about? It’s clearly a board game, which doesn’t mean much. Can you glean any other information from the screenshots? Or have theories?
I really cannot wait until I’m at a point where I can start the Steam page for this.
